Residential PV Safety Solution
Residential projects are small per site but widely distributed, with long service radii and owners who are highly sensitive to "something on my roof that might break". The decisive factors are not headline specs — they are install speed, clear explanation and someone to call.

Let's be clear first: no disclosable residential reference yet
Hisolarmate's field references are concentrated in C&I rooftops, a metro depot and an overseas factory rooftop. No residential project has yet produced a disclosable operating record. What follows is a technical applicability assessment based on comparable scenarios, not measured results.
Why it still works
- The technical logic of module-level shutdown is independent of project size; residential uses the same terminals and protocol as C&I
- Residential strings are smaller, so per-gateway node load is far below C&I scenarios
- IP68 and a −40 to +85°C range cover every climate a residential roof presents
- Wireless operation is especially welcome residentially — no extensive penetrations through a home roof
Three constraints that shape residential design
Residential isn't selling hardware — it's handing installers a repeatable package
What we give partners
- Standardised product packs and configuration lists mapped to installed capacity
- Installation work instructions and training, reducing dependence on veteran crews
- Sales narrative and homeowner materials explaining why it is worth fitting
- Cloud accounts and a direct service channel, with no relay through layers
What we ask of partners
- Complete installation and commissioning to specification, retaining site records
- No overstatement of capability, no claims beyond measured results
- Support sample validation and first-project follow-up
- Report service issues honestly — they feed product iteration
Same foundation, different configuration density
| Dimension | Residential | C&I |
|---|---|---|
| Devices | 2–6 per household, by module count | Hundreds to thousands, by roof block |
| Gateways | One unit covers one or several households | Per building or block, ≥512 nodes each |
| Deployment difficulty | Roof sealing, installation hours, service radius | Network scale, retrofit duration, block commissioning |
| Shared capability | The same HiSRSD terminals, LDSW protocol, TinyML edge intelligence and cloud platform | |
